The buoys are still reading 6 ft. but the marine forecast is calling for NE winds for most of the day. There is one factor that could work in our favor, low tide was at 5:40am so the tide will be pushing in to a high till 6:45pm. Looks real fun for a great longboard or fish session, grab your board and some rubber and hit it.
The surf is holding in the chest high range this morning with a stiff SW wind in the 10 to 15 mph range. The buoys are reading 7.5 ft. with a SW swell and the marine forecast is calling for the SW winds to continue throughout the day and then clock to the NW as this front continues to move through. Hopefully the size will hold until the winds get to the NW and then we should have some epic waves before dark, hopefully. The surf is looking pretty fun right now though also, so get out and get it. The water temp is starting to dip into the 60’s so your definately going to want some rubber on especially with the winds clock to the NW. Stop by the shop and get a new wetsuit. The surf has built into the waist to rib high range this morning and looking really fun with ESE winds in the 5-10 mph range. The buoys are on their way up with readings already in the 4 ft. range. Look for the surf to hold steady and possibly build slightly, the tide will be going out most of the day to a low at 4pm. The surf could be in the chest high range and bigger before dark with the tide pushing back in. Get out and surf today.
We have a little ground swell coming in left over from Hermina. The waves are only in the knee to waist high range, but really glassy with winds out of the NE at 5 mph. The tide is coming in to a high at 10am then going out to a low at 10:15pm. The marine forecast is calling for the winds to pick up out of the E and then S by this afternoon, so get out and get some waves early if you can while it is still glassy. Pirate paddlers will meet up at 6pm across from Aloha liquors on Pensacola Beach, come out and get your paddle on.
The surf is small but there is a tiny little S swell trying to make it in to the beach. Barely shin to knee high, maybe you could catch some on a paddleboard. The marine forecast is calling for E winds 10-15 today so maybe the surf will build. The buoys are reading in the 2-3 ft. range. We have a high tide at 8:30am and a low at 8pm. Enjoy the day. 850-433-2929.
