The surf is looking really fun this morning with more size and a little less wind than yesterday. The marine forecast is calling for the winds to pick up out of the S into the 20 -25 knot range and then go NW by this afternoon. The buoys are reading in the 6ft. range closer into shore so it could be a really epic session this afternoon when the winds clock to the N. The surf is holding in the waist high range this morning with a NE wind in the 10 mph range. Hope you can get out here early as it probably wont last all day. The buoys are still reading 6 ft. but the marine forecast is calling for NE winds for most of the day. There is one factor that could work in our favor, low tide was at 5:40am so the tide will be pushing in to a high till 6:45pm. Looks real fun for a great longboard or fish session, grab your board and some rubber and hit it.
The surf is holding in the chest high range this morning with a stiff SW wind in the 10 to 15 mph range. The buoys are reading 7.5 ft. with a SW swell and the marine forecast is calling for the SW winds to continue throughout the day and then clock to the NW as this front continues to move through. Hopefully the size will hold until the winds get to the NW and then we should have some epic waves before dark, hopefully. The surf is looking pretty fun right now though also, so get out and get it. The water temp is starting to dip into the 60’s so your definately going to want some rubber on especially with the winds clock to the NW. Stop by the shop and get a new wetsuit. The surf is running in the thigh to waist high range and the tide is going low right now. We have a low tide at 9:30am, then the tide will be coming back in to a high around 10:30pm. The buoys are reading 3.6 ft. with a SE swell and the surf should build slightly throughout the day, maybe into the waist to rib high range. The marine forecast is calling for more of the same SE winds for the next couple of days. Grab your board and go surf. The surf is just about flat with some little shin high rollers making it in to the beach. Looks like great paddleboarding conditions out on the Gulf. The surf is still rolling in with waves in the knee to thigh high range and a few bigger sets. The buoys are reading in the 3 ft. range, but we have NW winds around 5-10 mph. The marine forecast is calling for NNW winds all day so I expect that the surf will get totally killed off at some point today. Also the forcast is for N winds the rest of the week which means no surf, but great paddleboarding conditions and also great skating weather, so get out and paddle or skate to have some fun.
